It has been tested on many WordPress blog themes all with great success, using combinations of normal textual content, images, videos, multiple popups on single posts (Pro-mode only), link triggered popups etc.

Also possible are popups displaying on all WordPress posts with specified exceptions, displaying only on the home page and only once per visitor, complex iframe based alpha transparent videos (pro-mode) can be embedded (see examples).

Features in detail

	The WordPress Popup System plugin comes with two modes of operation, Standalone and ADP-Pro. The Standalone-mode is completely self-contained and uses an extensive interface via the options panel to set the characteristics of each popup in each chosen WordPress Post or Page.
	Installation is simple and getting your first popup on display can be a matter of a couple of minutes, depending on what content you want. After choosing a template to start with you can modify the content then and there in the editor, upload your own content and use that, enter an external URL of your choice etc.
	After choosing and modifying the content the design of the dhtml popup can be modified in many ways, and this aspect of the WordPress Popup System plugin is being extended greatly in the forthcoming versions. Color pickers are provided to choose colors for the border, title, shadow and title text. The width of the border and shadow may be set, the size and position of the dhtml popup may set.
	The built in preview window after each change will automatically update itself to show you exactly what your project looks like as you design it.
	Any kind of content may be embedded, including Flash Video and Alpha-transparency Flash video, popular video players, images, text and all combinations of these.
	The dhtml popup will follow the scroll of the user and may be positioned anywhere in the page. A set of methods such as already exists for the Pro-mode will also be available in the Standalone-mode very soon, such as drop-down, slide-in, fade-in etc.
	Even if you choose not to display any popups on your WordPress Blog any Web Stats tracking code that you have entered will still be in effect on all blog posts & pages to track your visitors movements in detail through the blog site. This is like a completely distinct functionality that the WordPress Popup System plugin offers.
	Using the Pro-mode all the cookie options available in ADP Pro can be used with the same effect. In Standalone-mode this is currently limited to setting a once-only viewing cookie.
	In either mode any number of DHTML Popups on your blog (one per post/page in Standalone-mode) can be set up, with options for per-post/home-page/all-pages/exclusion-pages/do-not-show with more options coming.
	The WordPress database is used to store all the options for each Advanced DHTML popup you design. At any time you can modify these options for a particular WordPress popup and update immediately, including switching them on and off.
	The system comes with a number of templates that can be used as starting points. This number will rapidly increase as new versions are released and will take into account user requests made in the forum. These templates include standard optin forms for Aweber & GetResponse where all you have to do is fill in the fields supplied by them.
	Included in the options setting page are two ways to clear out the options from the database, one will reset the system back to the defaults, and the other will remove the options completely, allowing you to clean the system and make a fresh start if desired.
	The Standalone-mode will have many features from the ADP Pro application, with only a few limitations. Using the Advanced DHTML Popup Pro-mode will ultimately provide the same set of functionality currently available in the latest version of Advanced DHTML Popup.
	Exit Popups (Pro-version) and the hugely desired "Lightbox" effect or modal popup (coming soon) can contain any content you want with any location specified, scrolling with the page as an option. Multiple "Lightbox" effects will be possible such as a series of video links in one page, each playing in its own special dhtml window with a darkened surround - like here.
